Role: CNC Setter Operator Programmer

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £12-15ph Days Only

The Company

The company provides customers with components machined to client’s own drawings.

Design and development facilities are available for a complete service from customer specification to completed product.

The Role

Working in the machine shop, the CNC Setter Operator Programmer is responsible for:

• Setting, operating and programming CNC Milling machines and CNC Lathes.
• Work on all operations associated with the manufacture of high integrity components.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Use both metric and imperial measuring equipment

Experience/ Skills

• Ideally be an apprentice-trained CNC Machinist or equivalent.
• Experienced with 3 axis milling machinery.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens or Mazak controls.

Package

• 40 Hours per week
• Flexible working hours Monday to Friday between 6am and 6pm
• 28 days holiday
• £12 – 15ph depending on experience.
